I've quite neglected my blog lately. I do have things to blog about, I really do but it just seems to be the last thing on my list lately. I plan on posting a large post about my holiday knitting...hopefully today but here is my Yarn Along for the week!
Currently I'm working on a few projects. I used to only do one at a time as something unfinished (knitting wise) would drive me nuts-sewing, scrap booking, cleaning...not so much. I've gone as far as I can on a sweater I'm working on (for me!) using fun bulky wool yarn. I have a lofty goal of working through my yarn stash. While it isn't as extensive as some people, it is a lot and that isn't counting my undyed from my "old" business that needs to be dyed and knitted one of these days. My first stash busting project of the year is a Seamless Raglan Sweater. I love Elizabeth Zimmermann. I love her patterns and how she was. I can read her books over and over and never tire of them. She was just a fiber genius.
Oh I agree about EZ :) Looks good so far!

ReplyDeleteI'd love to have one like this .. will you knit one for me too? :D :D pleeease pretty please!!! :D :D :D ...I will never knit fast enough to finish any sweater I think... with my current knitting speed I could finish one in 6 years or so :P
it's beautiful so far !
ReplyDeletelol Jarka! This is the fastest way to knit any sweater! All in the round...larger needles (size US11) and with bulky weight yarn!
ReplyDeleteI agree that EZ is a genius. Love your seamless sweater. I am currently working on a seamless hybrid for my son!
ReplyDeleteIt's brilliant! I love the colour.
ReplyDeleteI love that color. I have yet to read an Elizabeth Zimmermann book, but would love to. I have heard that she is to knitting what Julia Child was to cooking.
