Yarn Along Wednesday

For this week's Yarn Along via Small Things, I am still working on my Harvest Moon Cardi and reading A Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and my boys and I are reading the chapter book A To Z Mysteries: The Talking T Rex

I'm taking forever on both the book and the cardi.  I mostly blame the cardi though as I am a bit obsessed with trying to finish it.  It doesn't help that I do have those 3 kids to raise and am trying to find anything I can for the garage sale our Mom's group is having.  Both seem to dampen my time lately!  I did get the pocket done on one side tonight/this morning.  I knew if I went to bed it would haunt me in my sleep while I try to puzzle out the best way to do it.  I think I have it though!  Sewing with tweed is difficult as it is so hard to see what you are doing - especially at midnight.

  1. Love the detail of the pocket! I just finished using some tweed for gloves and I agree sewing after midnight with it is definitely hard on the eyes *grin*.

  2. lovely pocket and lovely colour! can't wait to see it finished!
annoyingly, i am most creative around midnight, so sleep sometimes isn't an option... but the eyes do get sore, i sympathise.

  3. I really like the yarn color, it looks beautiful. I read The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo, but haven't gotten to the others yet. My dh and I have watched two of the three movies on Netflix. It is an interesting story line.

  7. What a gorgeous sweater! I love the color that you chose.

I read all three of the Millenium Trilogy and loved them. I've heard that most people find the first one hard to understand. All you need to know is that all the financial mumbo jumbo deals with corporate fraud.

  10. It looks beautiful - I love the wool! What to chose reading or knitting?? Such a hard choice - and sometimes my eyelids start drooping for both!
