I've got plenty on the needles right now : a sweater, mittens, and a pair of longies as a gift. I've got to finish frantically knitting the later of the three before we leave to see the recipient this weekend. I'd also like to gift them a hat with them - as babies need lots of hats!
I love knitting with Malabrigo for babies. It is so soft and snuggly! I hope the mamas aren't scared at having to hand wash these knits. After all, their babies are hand wash too.
Currently, I'm reading a good book about youth entitlement, Cleaning House, and I picked up an Amish cookbook at the library. I really liked the cookbook - it had lots of little daily ditties of Amish life -very blog like - along with the recipes. Super interesting.
Babies do need lots of hats. I love how you put about hand washing the hats and will have to remember that, thank you.
